Yahoo Mobile Launches Its First Smartphone, the ZTE Blade A3Y


The first Yahoo-branded smartphone has been launched by Verizon to push its Yahoo mobile service. ZTE made this smartphone and is called as the Blade A3Y. 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 5.45-inch HD display is sported by the phone. On the back, there is a fingerprint sensor and also the face unlock feature is there. It runs on Android 10.

The Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y offers 4G LTE data, unlimited talktime and text. It is priced at $50 (around Rs. 3,700) and is available on the Verizon network with Yahoo mobile service. Yahoo Mail Pro without any ads is provided to the customers who will purchase the phone. Mobile hotspot use is also allowed by the phone but is limited to one user at a time with speed of 5Mbps. The new Yahoo sub-brand was announced by Verizon in March.

With aspect ratio of 18:9, the Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y features a 5.45-inch HD (720×1440) FullVision display according to the official website. The phone is powered by a quad core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and expandable 32GB storage. The phone features a 2,660mAh battery that runs on Android 10.
A single rear camera of 8-megapixel with two dual-LED flash is sported by the Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y for photos and videos. A sensor of 5-megapixel is there on the front while on the back, there is a fingerprint sensor. The phone has dimensions of 5.77×2.79×0.38 and weighs 161.8 grams.
