Live photos of the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro have reportedly been leaked to show what the two phones will look like from the front. Another leaked image allegedly shows the Vivo X60 Pro running OriginOS, Vivo’s new and improved skin on the Android operating system that will go public on November 18. Vivo X60 and X60 Pro, as well as the expected SoC that will power the phones.
According to tipster’s post on Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro will follow the design of the selfie camera cutout. As seen in the image shared by the tipster, the Vivo X60 is said to have a flat screen while the Vivo X60 Pro may come with a curved screen. Another image shows the supposed Pro variant running OriginOS. The company will unveil its OriginOS on November 18 at an event in China.
Another tipster by the username Arsenal said the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC. Samsung will officially unveil this processor today. The tipster also adds that the starting price for Vivo phones will be 3,500 CNY (around 39,400 rupees). Presumably, this will be the price of the base model of the Vivo X60 and the Pro variant will have a relatively higher price tag. The post was first spotted by Gizmochina.
According to another tipster on Weibo, the Vivo X60 Pro may come with the Snapdragon 875 SoC instead of the Exynos 1080 SoC. Both phones will likely run on OriginOS, which is expected to be based on Android 11.
Vivo X60 series may include a third phone called Vivo X60s 5G. A phone with the name Vivo X60s 5G was spotted in a Bluetooth SIG listing in July. This phone is said to come with RAM of 8GB and the Snapdragon 765G SoC. It can support 33W fast charging.
Vivo has not confirmed details on the Vivo X60 series or the number of phones that will be part of the series at this time. However, marketing materials spotted in some local retail stores in China recently suggested the phones may launch soon.
