Twitter is finally rolling out the DM search bar on Android, two years after introducing the feature for iOS users. This feature will allow Twitter users on Android to search for DMs by the name of the user or groups they are a part of. Twitter is also rolling out an improved version of its DM search tool.
The social media platform will later add to this feature by letting users search for content they’ve shared in DMs through the search bar. Twitter has reportedly introduced a new family of fonts that it will soon deploy on its web versions. The new sans serif font family is called Chirp. It includes Chirp Black, Chirp Bold and Chirp Regular fonts. The new font was only visible to Gadgets 360 on macOS devices, but not on Windows devices. It is speculated that the new font family may have been released on different platforms as well. However, the company said it had “no additional information to share at this time.”
