In China, the Redmi Note 9 5G series is expected to launch on November 24. Ahead of its official confirmation, one tipster has speculated on the launch date of the Redmi Note 9 5G series. At least two new models will be there in the series, with MediaTek and Qualcomm processors. It can include the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which is also known as Redmi Note 9 High Edition, as well as the Redmi Note 9 5G which is supposed to be Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition.
The informant reported on Weibo that the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 5G series could be announced this week, while the launch could take place at an event next Tuesday, that is, November 24.
Regarding the Redmi Note 9 5G series, Xiaomi has yet to make any confirmation. However, there may be two new models – both supporting 5G, according to the rumour.
Price of Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G (expected)
A report from last week suggested that the Redmi Note 9 5G aka Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition of the new series could carry a price tag of CNY 1,000 (about Rs 11,300), while the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G aka Redmi Note 9 High. Edition is said to be priced at 1,500 CNY (about 17,000 rupees). Last week, Redmi chief executive Lu Weibing also hinted at an upcoming announcement of the new models. However, any official details are not provided by the the company so far.

The Redmi Note 9 5G with a model number M2007J22C is surfaced on the Chinese TENAA. It has got features like 6.53-inch Full HD + IPS display, MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, RAM of up to 8GB, and storage of up to 256GB. Triple rear cameras on the Redmi Note 9 5G, with a 48-megapixel main sensor, is suggested by the list on the TENAA site.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications (expected)
The specifications of a phone with a model number M2007J17C, are also listed by the TENAA site which could be the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The phone appeared to have a 6.67-inch Full HD + display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, RAM of up to 12GB, and storage of up to 256GB. It’s also supposed to have a main camera sensor of 108-megapixel.
