Oppo’s first smart TV models, Oppo Smart TV S1 and Smart TV R1 have been unveiled. Oppo Smart TV S1 features include up to 120Hz display and floating design with a pop-up camera for video chats. A more standard option for consumers is the Oppo Smart TV R1 that comes in 55-inch as well as 65-inch screen sizes. Both the TV comes with the ColorOS TV operating system based on Android.

The price of Oppo Smart TV S1 has been set at CNY 7,999 (around Rs. 87,800), whereas the price of Oppo Smart TV R1 for the 55-inch variant has been set to CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 36,200) and for the 65-inch model, it is CNY 4,299 (around Rs. 47,200). These smart TVs are currently available for purchase in China.

A 65-inch 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) QLED Quantum Dot display is featured by the Oppo Smart TV S1 with a 120 percent ultra-wide NTSC colour gamut and 1,500 nits of peak brightness. It is TUV Rheinland certified and supports Dolby vision with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A quad-core MediaTek MT9950 SoC comes with the TV coupled with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and 8.5GB of RAM. On the Smart TV S1, Oppo has provided its custom sound system that brings a total of 18 speakers including a 25W subwoofer, with a total output of 85W. Dolby Atmos support is also there.

On the Smart TV S1, Oppo has provided onboard storage of 128GB. To provide a 3D-like visual experience, the TV extends the display 1.86mm forward which is called the floating design by the company. The smart TV comes with Oppo’s Breeno voice assistant and also the full-HD (1080p) pop-up camera.

The Oppo Smart TV S1 connectivity options include an AV input, Bluetooth v5.1, digital audio (optical) output, Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, two HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.0, and Wi-Fi 6. The TV comes with one-key NFC screen projection and there is a bundled, Bluetooth voice remote control.

The Smart TV S1 comes in a lone 65-inch screen size while the the Oppo Smart TV R1 comes in 55- and 65-inch screen options both having a 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) LCD with a 93 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and 60Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness of 250 nits is offered by the 55-inch model while the peak brightness of 300 nits comes with its 65-inch version. It has got 2GB of RAM and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT9652 SoC, paired with MediaTek MT9652 SoC, paired with Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. To enable video chats, the TV also comes with an optional 1080p HD external camera.

There are two units of speakers with a total rated output of 20W. It has got onboard storage of 32GB with Dolby Audio support.

The Oppo Smart TV R1 connectivity options include Bluetooth v5 and Wi-Fi 6 alongside an AV input, digital audio (optical) output, Ethernet, three HDMI 2.1, and two USB 2.0 ports. Along with support for Breeno voice assistant, it also has a bundled Bluetooth remote control.
