The Google Chrome startup page is the one that opens when you first launch Chrome on your device. Google Chrome Homepage is the page that opens when you click on the Home button. By the way, you can also choose to keep the two same.

Personalising Google Chrome homepage

  1. Open the Chrome browser on your desktop.
  2. Click on the three dots menu to enter Settings.
  3. Go to “Appearance” to enable the Home button.
  4. Under the “Show Home button”, select the New Tab page or a custom page. Exit to save the changes.

Personalising Google Chrome startup page

  1. You can make Google Chrome open to a new tab page. To do so, open the Chrome browser on your PC.
  2. Click on the three dots menu to enter Settings.
  3. Select “On startup”. Here, choose “Open the New Tab page.”
  4. You can further personalise the experience by adding themes to your tab page.

If you want Chrome to have a specific set of pages for a startup, select “Open a specific page or set of pages” under the “On startup” section.
