Microsoft is bringing back the blue BSOD on Windows 11

Microsoft has announced that it’s changing the Black Screen of Death in Windows 11 to its original name and colour Blue. As it turns out, the company has since changed its mind as the Blue Screen of Death made its comeback in the Windows 11 Insider build 22000.246, which is currently in testing with Windows Insiders.

However, considering the Blue Screen of Death is a common phrase related to the operating system when the operating system runs into a problem and is so common among its users the return of Blue colour will provide several users with a relief. On the contrary, the Black screen mostly referred to an issue with the display in simple terms. The change is now rolling out with Windows 11 Build 22000.346 to Beta and Release Preview Channels.

The new Black Screen of Death isn’t a massive change, but maybe Microsoft had second thoughts about changing the color of something most Windows users are probably familiar with.
