iPhone 12 Pro Max Sets Multiple Performance Records

The iPhone 12 Pro Max received the highest display performance from A + and made its way through DisplayMate’s tests. The phone’s Super Retina XDR display has equaled or set 11 smartphone display performance records, including the highest absolute color accuracy, the highest contrast ratio, and the smallest change in color accuracy. In the past, iPhone models typically featured high performance displays that set a number of display performance records. The iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2778×1284 pixels and a pixel density of 458ppi.
DisplayMate is an advanced display calibration and optimization service that determine the quality of a display by using proprietary test and calibration patterns. The iPhone 12 Pro Max ₹ 139,900 has been recently tested and received the highest level of display performance from A + and the award for the best smartphone screen for its “perfect accuracy and calibration performance”.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max was able to set or match 11 smartphone display performance records, including contrast ratio on highest, highest absolute color accuracy, highest visible screen resolution, lowest screen reflectance, smallest change in color accuracy, smallest variation in brightness with viewing angle, and five more. The phone also comes with a record full screen brightness for OLED smartphones at 825 nits for an average picture level (APL) of 100%.
The DisplayMate website says, “For a DisplayMate A + rating, the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s display meets all the criteria and requirements, achieving DisplayMate’s highest overall review rating and the highest display performance rating.”
It also states that for color accuracy and contrast accuracy, each iPhone 12 Pro Max display is individually calibrated, and that the absolute color accuracy of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is “really impressive”. Compared to older iPhone models, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has won the DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award and also equaled or set nine smartphone display performance records. Likewise, the iPhone XS Max has also won the DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award, and equaled or set eight performance records.
