Five Google Chrome extensions identified as vulnerable to hacking.

According to a report published on the McAfee website, five Google Chrome all extensions are available in the Chrome Web Store and the list also includes the extension created Goggle myself, These five Chrome extensions have been downloaded a total of over 1.4 million times.

The five extensions that were found to be vulnerable are: Netflix Party, Netflix Party 2, FlipShope – Price Tracking, Full Page Screenshots, and AutoBuy Flash Sales. According to the report, all five extensions share the same problem. Extensions contain malware that sends page URLs and injects code to e-commerce sites. Essentially, extensions contain malware that sends a page URL to a remote server every time a user visits a website.

If you are one of the unlucky 1.4 million users of either of all of these extensions, it is recommended that you delete it immediately. While the Netflix Party extension has been removed from the Chrome store, others are still there are some even have a featured tag on them.
